  • What if my air conditioning system breaks at 3 a.m.?
  • Day or night, 7 days a week (even holidays), you can contact us at the number listed below to schedule repair service on any covered item in your home. Although we cannot guarantee that a repair person will be availalbe at 3 a.m. we will schedule the dispatch as soon as possible the following morning
 
  • Are my old appliances and systems covered?
  • Most of your systems and appliances are covered with Residential MD, no matter the age, make, or model.
 
  • What is the difference between ResidentialMD and ResidentialMD Gold?
  • Both Residential MD and Residential MD Gold cover virtually every appliance and system in your home for parts and labor for repair or replacement whenever a breakdown occurs. Covered systems include your heating and air conditioning systems, your home's plumbing including the toilets and faucets, and your home's electrical system including light switches, outlets and internal wiring. Covered appliances include your water heater, clothes washer and dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and oven, ceiling fans, garage door opener, among many others. Plus, these plans cover items most other home service plans don't cover, like clogged plumbing or failures due to things like rust and corrosion, water sediment build-up and other unknown pre-existing conditions you aren't presently aware of.

    The Residential MD Gold Home Service Plan goes further to offer you four preventive maintenance visits to your home, with no service call fee, that cover a 103-point checklist inspecting the heating and air conditioning systems, your home's plumbing and electrical systems, and your major appliances. These seasonal checkups help prevent future breakdowns, enhance your home's energy efficiency and adds peace of mind knowing your home is in good working order.
 
  • What can I expect when a Service technician arrives, are there any charges?
  • When a technician arrives for a repair call you will be required to pay an $85 service call per claim, no matter what the actual cost of the repair or replacement for your covered item.* This fee is payable directly to the technician that comes to your home. For the Residential MD Gold program there is no deductible for your quarterly maintenance visits.
